Sorry I haven't posted in a while!

Sorry, its been a while since I've posted pictures. Life is just too crazy! I'll try to be better about it, though. Here's a couple posts of pictures from the last month. Enjoy!

Gingerbread House

The boys actually worked together and made a gingerbread house this year. Shortly after these pictures were taken, however, the boys took it apart, divided it up, and started to eat it! :)

Lily and Nukka

Jason and Lily
Jason and Nukka

Thanksgiving weekend we had the honor of dogsitting Lily and Nukka. The boys loved having them both here (Andy and I did as well). Jason especially loved playing with the dogs. By the end of the weekend he was acting like a dog himself! :)

Here's Nukka!

I finally decided on a name for her just in time to pick her up today. Nukka means younger sister in Eskimo, I wanted to find something that had meaning, but was also easy to say, which isn't easy with the Eskimo language. Well, she survived her world travels to get here, but she did manage to coat quite a bit of her kennel with poo. We gave her a rinsing at the parking garage and swapped her over to Lily's travel kennel to get her home and into the bathtub. Amanda's convinced Lily is broken because she isn't as poofy as Nukka. She's very shy, but her and Lily seem to be getting along really well, with lots of wrestling. She looks forward to meeting everybody!

Heeeeere's Lily!

We made the trek down to Des Moines this morning at midnight so we could pick her up at 4am while the breeders were taking other puppies to the airport. She didn't like stopping for pee breaks and then getting back on the road again. She threw up in her carrier the first time, so I let her crawl around on me for the rest of the ride, where she proceeded to vomit on my shoulder after the second stop, it was nice. She is very cute and very energetic!

Bruiser is done!

This one took a little longer than the others cause I couldn't stop riding it while I was building it! I think I put about 15 miles on the bike before I was even done with the frame. :-) And a sort of before and after picture with the next project bike. ;-)

2 nights on the StingRay

I decided this one needed a whole new frame altogether. Dad had mentioned a frame style he liked so I worked off of that and am doing some other things I think will look cool too.

I couldn't cruise around on my custom bike without building something for Amanda to ride with me. So here's a before picture and an after two nights of work picture as a teaser. :)

Tim's ride in a Limo

Tim's coach went thru with his promise and got the boys a limo ride for winning a basketball tournament. The bonus was they got to take the limo to the Timberwolves game Monday night. Andy was able to go along as a chaperone, too! They had a great time and the Wolves won!!!!

Pretty much done

I got my parts bike last night and after modifying just about every part from it to fit my frame (thought it was a good idea and the parts would just swap in minutes) here's the almost finished product. I need to take a link out of the chain and possibly add a tensioner to it and that should fix the problems I had test riding it today. Yes I rode it, it's pretty easy to ride but the steering takes a bit of getting used to.

Almost ready for paint.

I finished cleaning up the frame tonight to bring it into work tomorrow so I can paint it in the paint booth in controlled temperatures. Now I think I need to build another one and leave it bare metal cause this one looks cool stripped down. I already have paint for this one, thats what the one picture is, I tested it on a little tool box I got from work today.

Jason's first game

Jason played in his first basketball game against an opponent on Saturday, February 23rd. They played 2 "games" against rivals Belle Plaine. Jason did a great job in both games and scored 10 points!! I took pictures of him playing with my other camera so the only digital image I have of him is getting ready to drink his gatorade on the bench! :)

Kevin got his braces off!!!

Kevin was very excited to get his braces off on Thursday, February 21!!! He has to go back in the beginning of March to get his retainer and that's it. YEAH!! One down, one to go!

Kevin - Redwing Tournament 2/17

Kevin's team took 1st place in the Red Wing Tournament on Feb. 17. YEAH!
