World of Wheels

Amanda and I went to the World of Wheels last weekend, it was a pretty good show. They had Bumble Bee from Transformers, Lightning McQueen from Cars, I took a picture of Jimmy Shine giving autographs. Jimmy was the star of TLCs Hard Shine, he works at So-Cal Speed Shop and has an awesome bare metal rat truck that unfortunately wasn't there at the show. We also saw the host of Overhaulin', but we missed the Vikings Cheerleaders, Amanda was bummed about that. HA!

Tim's team takes 3rd place in Shakopee Tourney

Tim's team took 3rd place in the Shakopee Tournament this weekend. Their only loss was to a tough Shakopee team.

I love this picture of Tim and his coach, Kevin! Kevin is so good with all of the kids. You can tell that he really wants each child to succeed in all they do!

Well, I finally used up my Home Depot gift cards. I thought I would post a picture of what I got so you know what you helped pay for. Ha! It's a Lincoln Welder 3200HD mig welder, a Milwaukee saws-all, and I bought a new welding helmet to compliment all the other new gear. So now everybody be on the lookout for a free 4-cylinder S-10 and a free '30s Model A sedan body so I can get started on my next project! : )

Tim's Team - Finally Champions!!!

Tim's team had a tournament in Waterville this weekend. They pulled out a tough win in sudden death overtime to win the championship. Their first 3 tournaments they finished in 2nd place each time...the 4th one was the charm...winning it all. I don't have a picture to post as I was at Kevin's tournament. But their team's medals need to be mailed to their coach so once they get the medals they will have their picture taken.

Kevin's Team - Consolation Champs again!!!

Kevin's team had a two-day tournament in Monticello this weekend. They lost their first game on Saturday. On Sunday, though, they were all fired up and won two games giving them the Consolation Championship! Way to go guys!!!

3rd Tournament - 3rd second place finish

Tim had his 3rd travel basketball tournament this weekend in St. Louis Park. They got 2nd place for the 3rd tournament in a row. They lost to St. Therese by 3 points!!! It was a very good game.
