Kevin's first varsity basketball game was Friday night. He was quite nervous. He was the 2nd player off the bench to get into the game. Once in the game he didn't appear to be nervous. He played hard and played quite a few minutes. He also scored 5 points and had one good foul! The coach told him after the game that he's never seen a sophomore as composed on the court as Kevin was in his first game! Way to go Kevin we are so proud of you!!!

Jason's Traveling Basketball Team

This is Jason's first year in traveling basketball! He is having a blast!!! They have played in 2 tournaments. The first tournament they took 2nd place. Their 2nd tournament they won!!! Jason is playing very well and has scored many points. He has also fouled out of one game. Oh, and he scored a basket for the other team once!!! :) sshhhh don't tell him I told you!!! :)

Nan's Funeral

Nan passed away on October 8, 2009. The funeral was held on Monday, October 12, 2009. The boys looked so nice I had to take a couple pictures!

Kevin's leg injury

Kevin took a helmet to the shin in Wednesday nights varsity win over Norwood-Young America. No broken bones thank goodness. Just rest, ice and Kinesio taping!! Kevin had the option of skin color or pink. You can see his choice! :)

Kevin Playing Varsity Football!!

Kevin played his first minutes of varsity football Friday night. Luckily the varsity team had a 41-0 score and Kevin got to play the last 4 minutes or so of the game. It was exciting but really weird to watch. He is number 85 and says he has to change his last name to OchoCinco.

Breast Cancer 3-Day

Alissa and I participated in the Breast Cancer 3-Day. Here are a few pictures from the walk.

Wisconsin

We went to the Way Family Cabin in Ogema, Wisconsin. The boys love to go there to hike, canoe, swim and fish. I just wish we could make it there more often!

Wisdom Teeth

Kevin had his wisdom teeth pulled. It went amazingly well. He had no swelling at all so I couldn't take a fun picture of that. This is a picture of him just resting on the couch.

PGA

Kevin, Tim, and Andy went to one of the practice rounds of the PGA tournament in Chaska. They got to see Tiger Woods practice. They also saw someone (I can't remember who it was) hit a hole-in-one! Pretty exciting!!!

Driver's Permit

Watch out on the roads! Kevin just got his driver's permit today!!!! He is extremely excited and I think that's an understatement!!!! He only got 1 wrong on his test so he is pretty proud of himself too!!

Father's Day

For Father's Day all Andy wanted was a trip to the Minnesota Zoo. So that is what we did!!! Everyone had a great time and it was decided that we should buy a Zoo membership again. One more trip to the Zoo more than pays for the membership so why not!!!!

The boys decided to check out their wing spans compared to some birds. Tim's wing span was closest to a Trumpeter Swan.

Jason's was closest to a Canada Goose.
